Top 3 Weight Loss Tips

These are still early days for my blog, but for the past 16 months as my Facebook group Orthodox Food, Fitness and Faith has been growing one thing that comes up more than anything is the desire for weight loss.

Weight loss has become a multi-billion dollar industry worth around US$ 224.27 billion in 2021 and is estimated to hit approximately US$ 405.4 billion by 2030.

Unfortunately most of it involves quick fix programs and diets that result in regaining the weight once you stop the program, which sets you up for a never ending cycle of yo-yo dieting.

Or you get sucked into expensive supplements and medications, which keep you buying more because if you stop, the weight comes back on.

As an Orthodox Christian I find this very unsettling and morally unethical.

Really, what needs to happen is to get to the root of the cause of weight gain and develop healthy habits that will help you lose weight and SUSTAIN it.
